Requirements:

  • ARRIVAL TIME: Volunteers are expected to arrive at least 20 minutes before their volunteer start time, depending on their assigned role, and must check in with the volunteer lead. 

  • AVAILABILITY: Volunteers must be available to support the event throughout the day, depending on their assigned role. 

  • TRANSPORTATION: Volunteers must coordinate their transportation to the
    Golf Club

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Volunteers must be willing to stand for prolonged periods during the event

    • Volunteers must be able to lift up to 20 lbs

    • Volunteers are expected to work their full designated time frames.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the program activities of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater KC 2025 Golf Classic Tournament, the undersigned hereby releases, waives, and holds harmless the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, their officers, agents, representatives and employees from any and all claims, liability, loss of services and causes of action of any kind for personal injury and property damage which may arise in connection with such participation as a volunteer, including but not limited to liability resulting from transportation to or from said activities.

This release shall apply to any such injury, accident or liability, whether or not there is negligence on the part of the Corporation, their officers, agents, representatives or employees. This release further shall apply to any claim for contribution that I may have or assert against the Corporation, the officers, agents, representatives or employees arising from any such injury, accident, property damage or liability.

I declare that the terms of this Waiver and Release have been completely read and are fully understood, are voluntarily accepted, and that I signed it as my own free act.
